12 00... Instructions on compression testing

Cars with automatic transmissions:

Select drive position "P"
Apply handbrake

Cars with manual transmissions:

Move gearshift lever to neutral position
Apply handbrake

Turn off ignition.

Disconnect DME master relay. This ensures that the DME control unit does not actuate the ignition coils.

If this procedure is not observed:

High voltage! - Mortal danger!
Damage to DME control unit (ignition final stages)!
