MINI joystick

The MINI joystick is the central operating element for all menus on the Central Information Display. The joystick is located in the center console behind the gearshift lever or selector lever in the case of automatic transmissions. Two buttons are arranged in front of the joystick:

• "Home" button

  Calling up the main menu

• "Browse" button

  Browses through the last 3 menus opened

The MINI joystick is connected via the K-CAN with the headunit. The signal for the locator lighting (terminal 58g e.g. for the buttons) is transferred on the bus.
