61 31 195 Removing and installing (replacing) front controller

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
The button for the controller must not be removed!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove CENTER CONSOLE TRIM

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: see 2AZ in 61 31 SWITCH .

Remove controller (2) from center console cover (3).

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
