61 14 015 Removing and installing/replacing power distribution box (on battery)

Follow instructions on INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR (IBS) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BOTH NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLES

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Open cover, release nut (3) underneath and disconnect positive battery cable. Tightening torque 61 21 4AZ .

Open cover (5) and release nut (4). Tightening torque 61 21 2AZ .

Using a suitable tool, expand locking bracket (6) at lower end and clip out.

Lift power distribution box (2) out of battery.
