61 35 107 Removing and installing or replacing junction box electronics

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

Remove air duct (2).

Release screw (1).

Slacken wiring harness in cable holder (2).

Release screw (1).

Lever holders (1) at bulkhead out of passenger compartment fuse box (2) in direction of arrow.

Lower passenger compartment fuse box (2).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (1).

Pull junction box electronics (2) in direction of arrow out of passenger compartment fuse box.

Disconnect associated plug connection and remove junction box electronics (2).

Installation: 

Make sure junction box electronics (2) is correctly seated in passenger compartment fuse box.

Replacement: 

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
