61 31 270 Removing and installing/replacing reversing light switch

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

N12: 

• Remove INTAKE FILTER HOUSING

N14: 

• Remove INTAKE NECK FOR INTAKE FILTER HOUSING

W16: 

• Remove intake duct
• Remove Digital Diesel Electronics control unit
• Release FUSE BOX IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT 
• Remove bracket for Digital Diesel Electronics control unit/fuse box in engine compartment.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release reversing light switch (2) with a suitable tool. Tightening torque 61 31 1AZ .
