Resistance Test

Once the vehicle is running a set of diagnostic entry conditions must be met. These include a MAF window, catalyst temperature, battery voltage and engine speed.

If the entry conditions are met then the O2 sensor heater circuit resistance is compared with a threshold. If it is below the minimum or above the maximum threshold for a sufficient length of time then an error is set.
