TPMS Reminder Reset - Procedure 03
NOTE:
This procedure is for vehicles equipped with Navigation System.
NOTE:
The vehicle can be equipped with either an Indirect TPMS (Flat Tire Monitor), or a Direct TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor). Both systems are reset using the same procedure.
NOTE:
Reset the system after each correction of the tire inflation pressure and after every tire or wheel change.
NOTE:
TPMS reset (Initialization) is accomplished through the Control Display, using the mini joystick controller in front of the gearshift lever.
- Select the following menus: Vehicle Info > Vehicle Status > Reset.
- Start the engine, but do not start driving.
- Select "Reset" (or "Perform Reset") option to start the initialization. See Fig 1.
- Start driving vehicle.NOTE: Vehicles with the Direct system: The tires are shown in gray and "Resetting TPM..." is displayed.
- Initialization is completed during driving, which can be interrupted at any time. When driving resumes, Initialization is continued automatically.
