NOTE: This procedure is for vehicles equipped with Navigation System.
NOTE: The vehicle can be equipped with either an Indirect TPMS (Flat Tire Monitor), or a Direct TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor). Both systems are reset using the same procedure.
NOTE: Reset the system after each correction of the tire inflation pressure and after every tire or wheel change.
NOTE: TPMS reset (Initialization) is accomplished through the Control Display, using the mini joystick controller in front of the gearshift lever.
  1. Select the following menus: Vehicle Info > Vehicle Status > Reset.
  2. Start the engine, but do not start driving.
  3. Select "Reset" (or "Perform Reset") option to start the initialization. See Fig 1.
  4. Start driving vehicle.
NOTE: Vehicles with the Direct system: The tires are shown in gray and "Resetting TPM..." is displayed.
  5. Initialization is completed during driving, which can be interrupted at any time. When driving resumes, Initialization is continued automatically.
