Distribution of the following tools will be through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. Additional tools may be purchased through your PDC. All prices on this bulletin are introductory prices and are only valid during the Automatic Tool Shipment. All special tools in the MINI repair manual carry the prefix "88 88 0 XXX XXX" or "90 88 0 XXX XXX". Check the prefix in the parts computer before ordering special tools from the repair manual.

Used to R & R the lower control arm. Refer to repair manual section 31 12 001.

Application note: Never use an air impact driver on the control arm press as damage can result. Instead, use a hand ratchet or a geared electric drill with a low range such as the Milwaukee Hole Hawg (model 1675-6) manufactured by Milwaukee Electric Tool corp.
