Removal & Installation: Removal
- Disconnect battery and separate oxygen sensor from wire connector. Remove all air hoses and disconnect ground wire from below the turbocharger outlet fitting.
- Disconnect the oil supply tube. Remove coolant outlet and inlet tube. Loosen heat shield above right engine mount and raise vehicle. remove Remove transmission mount plate. Disconnect exhaust inlet pipe from turbocharger.
- Remove oil return tube and gasket from turbocharger. Remove lower attaching nuts and support bracket. Lower vehicle and remove dipstick tube support bracket from exhaust flange (automatic transmission).
- Remove turbocharger upper attaching nuts and remove turbocharger, outlet tube and hose as an assembly.
