Charge Indicator: Tracer
- Turn ignition on. Indicator light should illuminate then go out. If light stays on, start engine and check for 12-volts at White/Black wire at alternator connector.
- If White/Black wire does not have 12-volts, repair or replace alternator. If White/Black wire does have 12-volts, check for 12-volts at White/Black wire at instrument cluster connector.
- If White/Black wire at connector does not have 12-volts, replace White/Black wire between alternator and indicator light. If White/Black wire at connector does have 12-volts, replace check relay on printed circuit board.
- If indicator light does not illuminate, ground White/Black wire at alternator connector. If light illuminates, repair or replace alternator. If light does not illuminate, ground White/Black wire at instrument cluster connector.
- If light does not illuminate, replace check relay on printed circuit board. If light illuminates, replace White/Black wire between alternator and indicator light.
