Charge Indicator: Festiva
- Turn ignition on. Indicator light should illuminate then go out. If light illuminates, start engine and check for 12-volts at Brown wire at alternator connector.
- If Brown wire does not have 12-volts, repair or replace alternator. If Brown wire does have 12-volts, repair Brown wire for short to ground between alternator and indicator light.
- If indicator light will not illuminate, ground Brown wire at alternator connector. If light illuminates, repair or replace alternator. If light does not illuminate, ground Brown wire at instrument cluster connector.
- If light illuminates, repair Brown wire between alternator and indicator light. If light does not illuminate, replace indicator light bulb.
