Engine Misfires

Check condition of spark plug wires and for faulty spark plugs. Check distributor cap for moisture, cracks, or damage. Inspect rotor and distributor cap terminals for erosion. Check gap between rotor and distributor cap terminals. Ensure spark plug firing order is correct. Check base ignition timing.

NOTE: Whenever a high-tension wire is replaced or removed from spark plugs, coil or distributor cap, apply dielectric compound to inside of boot before reconnecting wire.
