Secondary Winding Test
Disconnect ignition coil wiring. Set ohmmeter on "x1000" scale. Connect ohmmeter across coil negative terminal and coil tower. Reading should be 8000-11,500 ohms. If incorrect, replace ignition coil.
NOTE:
Whenever a high-tension wire is replaced or removed, apply dielectric compound to inside of boot before connecting wire.
