Description & Operation
The fuel evaporation system consists of special fuel tank, pressure/vacuum relief fuel filler cap, vapor valve, connecting hoses and a carbon canister. Fuel vapor is vented through the vapor valve through connecting hoses to the carbon canister.
From the carbon canister, vapor travels to the intake duct through a connecting hose. A small orifice in the vapor valve prevents liquid fuel from passing to the carbon canister.
