Test Results & Action To Take

  1. Ensure that all previous QUICK TEST steps have been successfully completed. Verify proper test equipment hook-up. See EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP  in this article. Make sure that SELF-TEST is deactivated. DO NOT  activate SELF-TEST unless specifically instructed to do so.
  2. Using service codes obtained in CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES TO BE TESTED, perform the test(s) indicated in the CONTINUOUS SELF-TEST table for that specific engine. While performing CIRCUIT TESTS  , one or both of the CONTINUOUS MONITOR (WIGGLE) TEST  may have to be used to find intermittent fault.
