Removal and Installation

All vehicles 

NOTE: To prevent setting DTCs, make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connector.
1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.

   Vehicles with adjustable accelerator pedal and sensor assembly 

2. Remove the 2 bolts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.
   • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

   Vehicles with fixed accelerator pedal and sensor assembly 

3. If equipped, disconnect the accelerator pedal motor electrical connector.
4. Remove the 3 nuts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.
   • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

   All vehicles 

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
