Accelerator Pedal and Bracket: Installation

All vehicles
- Install the accelerator pedal and bracket assembly.
- Install the 3 accelerator pedal and bracket nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Connect the accelerator pedal motor drive cable connector.
- Connect the accelerator pedal motor electrical connector.
- Connect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.
- Index the adjustable accelerator pedal and bracket assemblies. For additional information, refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION article.

NOTE:
On vehicles with a fixed pedal and bracket assemblies, the service unit may differ from the original unit. The non-working accelerator pedal motor electrical connector may be plugged into either of these locations shown depending on the length of the harness.
