WARNING:
Do not use any fluid other than clean brake fluid meeting manufacturer's specification. Additionally, do not use brake fluid that has been previously drained. Following these instructions will help prevent system contamination, brake component damage and the risk of serious personal injury.

CAUTION:
Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash it with water.
- If equipped with fire suppression system, depower the system.
- Make sure the brake master cylinder reservoir is full.
- Apply the brakes several times to verify correct brake operation. If necessary, bleed the system. For additional information, refer to Brake System Bleeding .
- If the reservoir level is dropping, inspect the brake components, fittings, hoses and tubes to locate the source of the leak.
- If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
WARNING:
Before servicing a vehicle equipped with a fire suppression system, depower the system by following the procedure in FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

NOTE:
Brake fluid is water soluble and it is possible that all evidence of fluid leakage has been washed off if the vehicle has been operated in the rain or snow.
