Park System: Installation: Notes

1. Illustration 2 of 2. Install the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

2. On 4x4 vehicles, install the transfer case assembly. For additional information, refer to FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEMS .
3. On 4x2 vehicles, install the driveshaft. For additional information, refer to DRIVELINE SYSTEM .
4. On 4x2 vehicles, install the rear transmission support insulator. For additional information, refer to TRANSMISSION SUPPORT INSULATOR - 4X2 .
5. On 4x2 vehicles, install the exhaust. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
6. Partially fill the transmission. For additional information, refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID DRAIN AND REFILL - WITHOUT TORQUE CONVERTER DRAIN PLUG .
