Disassembly And Assembly: Pump: Disassembly

  1. Remove the power steering pump control valve and the power steering pump control valve spring nut.

  2. Remove the power steering pump control valve and the power steering pump control valve spring.

  3. Remove the rear power steering pump housing bolts.

  4. Separate the power steering pump housing from the power steering pump body.

  5. Remove the snap ring.

  6. Remove the power steering pump pressure switch.

  7. Remove the power steering pump return hose fitting.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the fitting.

  8. Using the suitable tool, remove the bearing from the power steering pump shaft.

  9. Using the special tool, remove the grease seal.

  10. Remove the cam ring and the power steering pump rotor from the rear power steering pump housing.

  11. Remove the guide pins.

  12. Remove the power steering pump rotor from the power steering pump cam ring.

  13. Remove the power steering pump rotor vanes.
