Trouble Shooting

Inspect for blown HTD BL fuse (30-amp) located in Battery Junction Box (BJB). BJB is located in left side of engine compartment, forward of strut tower. See Figure. Check for blown fuse No. 23 (15-amp) in Central Junction Box (CJB). CJB is located behind left side of instrument panel. See Figure. Check for damaged rear window defogger switch and loose or corroded connector. Check grid filament for operation and condition. See GRID FILAMENT TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. If problem is found, repair as necessary and retest system. If no problem is found, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
