Retrieving & Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Connect Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) tester, New Generation Star (NGS) tester or equivalent diagnostic tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure. DLC is located under instrument panel between steering column and the radio. See Figure. Following scan tool manufacturer's instructions to retrieve and clear codes for desired module.
