Selector Lever Cable: Installation

All vehicles 

1. Attach the selector cable to the selector lever assembly.
   NOTE: Do not lock the selector cable adjusting cap.
   1. Insert the selector cable to the bracket.
   2. Clip the selector cable in place.

2. Install the heat shield.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the shifter cable.
   1. Position the cable.
   2. Install the bolts.

5. Adjust the selector cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER INDICATOR ADJUSTMENT .

   Vehicles with 2.5L engine 

6. Install the air cleaner (AC).
