Without Tester Load (1) (2)
No-Load Test (3) At Least 2.5 Volts Above Base Voltage
(1) Perform this test with engine running at 2000 RPM, A/C on, blower motor on high speed, and headlamps on high beam.
(2) With accessories on, voltage should increase a minimum of 0.5 volt above base voltage.
(3) All accessories off with engine running at 1500 RPM.
