Test A: System Overcharges (More Than 15.5 Volts)

Turn ignition off. Disconnect generator 2-pin connector. Remove battery junction box fuse No. 9 (10-amp). Measure resistance of Blue wire between generator connector terminal and output side of battery junction box fuse No. 9. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace generator. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Blue wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
