Test D: One-Touch Down Feature Inoperative

    NOTE: Splice in Green/Orange wire is located in driver's door.
  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect 5-pin one-touch down relay harness connector located in driver's door. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and one-touch down relay harness connector terminal No. 2 (Green/Orange wire). See Figure . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open or short to ground in Green/Orange wire between one-touch down relay and central junction box.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Measure resistance in Black wire between ground and one-touch down relay harness connector terminal No. 1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace one-touch down relay. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire between one-touch down relay and ground point located at bottom of driver's side "A" pillar.
