Selector Lever Cable: Removal

All vehicles

1. Move the selector lever lo position "N".

   Vehicles with 2.5L engine

2. Remove the air cleaner (AC).

   All vehicles

3. Disconnect the selector cable from the automatic transaxle selector lever.
   1. Remove the bolts.
   2. Disconnect the selector cable.
   • Disconnect the selector cable from the bracket.

4. Raise the vehicle.
5. Remove the heat shield.
6. Disconnect the selector cable from the selector lever assembly.
   1. Disconnect the selector cable.
   2. Unlatch the selector cable adjusting cap and disconnect it from the bracket.
