Front Wiper/Washer Switch

Wiper/washer switch is incorporated into multifunction switch on steering column. Disconnect multifunction switch 10-pin connector. Measure resistance between specified terminals. See FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH RESISTANCE TEST  table. See Fig 1 . If resistances are not as specified, replace multifunction switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

(1) Rotate (INT) knob from minimum to maximum. Resistance should gradually increase from 3.3 k/ohms (MIN) to 103.3 k/ohms (MAX).
