Accessing Parameter Identification

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC) C252. DLC C252 is located below driver's side of instrument panel, to left of steering column above fuse junction panel. Following scan tool manufacturer's instructions, enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD for desired module. Operate appropriate system and ensure PID expected values are obtained.
