Test L: Remote Transmitter Panic Feature Does Not Operate Correctly

NOTE: Central Security Module (CSM) may also be referred to as anti-theft/central locking module.
  1. Check active anti-theft system operation. If active anti-theft system operates properly, go to next step. If active anti-theft system does not operate properly, repair active anti-theft system as necessary. See ACTIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS - COUGAR article.
  2. Trigger active anti-theft by depressing PANIC button on a additional remote transmitter. If active anti-theft panic feature operates, program all remote transmitter(s) to be used with vehicle. See PROGRAMMING  . If active anti-theft panic feature does not operate, replace Central Security Module (CSM).
