Description & Operation

Power rear side view mirror system consists of left and right mirror heads with integral reversible servomotor assembly and mirror control switch. Some models are equipped with position memory and/or heating elements in outside mirror glass operated when rear window defogger is used.

The optional memory mirrors (and memory driver's seat) are controlled by Driver's Seat Module (DSM). Can be programmed with 2 personalized positions using memory switch or remote transmitter. Once the mirror/seat is located in preferred position, driver must press memory seat button No. 1 or 2 within 5 seconds or operation is aborted. Pressing memory seat buttons No. 1 and 2 simultaneously will move seat to full rear, full down position for exit mode, but is not a programmable position. Memory recall can be initiated with ignition off or while transaxle is in Park or Neutral with ignition switch in RUN position.
