Transmitter Programming

NOTE: To enter programming mode, ensure battery is fully charged and anti-theft system (if equipped) is not armed or triggered. Up to 4 transmitters may be programmed.
  1. Cycle ignition switch between OFF and ON positions 4 times within 3 seconds. Leave ignition switch in OFF position. Central locking module will enter and remain in a programming mode for 20 seconds. This will be indicated by an illuminated Light Emitting Diode (LED) on instrument panel.
  2. Press any button on remote transmitter being programmed. When signal from remote transmitter is accepted by central locking module, LED will flash.
  3. To program additional transmitters, repeat previous step. Allow a 2 second delay after LED flashes. To exit programming mode, turn ignition switch to ON position. If central locking module does not receive a transmitter signal for 20 seconds, it will automatically exit programming mode. Test all programmed transmitters.
