Trouble Shooting

Check the following items before proceeding with testing;

• Check battery for state of charge.
• Check cable connections at battery and starter motor.
• Check ELECTRON fuse (10-amp) in instrument panel fuse panel.
• Check ENG CONT fuse (7.5-amp) in instrument panel fuse panel.
• On models equipped anti-theft system, ensure anti-theft system is operating properly (horn honks, lights flash, etc.) See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM - ACTIVE article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT for additional information.
• Ensure transmission is fully engaged in Park or Neutral position.
