Test D: Improper Up/Down Lifting Operation

Check Control Switch - Perform LEFT SEAT CONTROL SWITCH test as described under COMPONENT TESTING. If control switch is okay, go to next step. If control switch is faulty, replace switch.
Check Seat Motor - Disconnect seat motor connector. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to Red/Blue wire and ground Yellow/Blue wire at connector. Seat should move upward. Reverse leads. Seat should move downward. If seat operates as specified, repair Brown and/or Pink wires between motor and control switch. If seat does not operate correctly, replace motor.
