Test C: Improper Up/Down Tilting Operation

Check Control Switch - Perform LEFT SEAT CONTROL SWITCH and RIGHT SEAT CONTROL SWITCH tests as described under COMPONENT TESTING. If control switches are okay, go to next step. If control switches are faulty, replace switches as needed.
Check Seat Motor - Disconnect seat motor connector. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to Yellow/White wire and ground Red/White wire at connector. Seat should tilt upward. Reverse leads. Seat should tilt downward. If seat operates as specified, repair Gray and/or Yellow wires between motor and control switch. If seat does not operate correctly, replace motor.
