Generator No-Load Test

Connect DVOM to battery posts. Measure voltage with engine off. Start and run engine at 1500 RPM with all accessories off. Again measure voltage. Voltage should increase from previous reading by approximately 2.5 volts. Voltage with engine running should be 14.1-14.7 volts. Go to next test.
