Fuel Supply Manifold Assembly: Removal

  1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove upper intake manifold. Disconnect wiring harness at fuel injectors. Remove breather tube. Disconnect fuel supply and return lines.
  2. Remove fuel assembly manifold bolts and spacers. Carefully disengage fuel supply manifold from fuel injectors by lifting and gently rocking rail.
