Power Mirror Motor

  1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the left hand and/or right hand power mirror motor connector.
  3. Using a jumper, connect the terminal No. 3 of the power outside rear view mirror to the battery positive. See Fig 1 . Connect another jumper wire to a good ground. Keeping battery power on terminal No. 3, connect ground wire to terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with switch in specified direction. SeeTERMINAL TESTING  table.

    Terminal Power Outside Rear View Mirror Direction
    1 Down
    2 Left
    1 Up
    2 Right
  4. If the power outside rear view mirror does not operate as specified, replace the power outside rear view mirror in question. Otherwise, See PINPOINT TEST  .
