System Test
- Inspect DOOR LOCK fuse. If fuse has failed, go to next step. If fuse is okay, go to step 4).
- Replace DOOR LOCK fuse. Turn ignition on. If fuse fails again, go to next step. If fuse does not fail, go to step 4).
- Turn ignition off. Unplug connectors from both door switches. Unplug connector from fuse panel. Inspect White/Green wire at fuse panel for short to ground. If wire is okay, go to next step. If wire is not okay, repair wire as necessary.
- Reconnect wiring to fuse panel if necessary. Unplug connectors from door switches. Turn ignition on. Check for battery voltage on White/Green wire at each door switch harness connector. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified, repair White/Green wire as necessary.
- Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between Black wire and ground at each switch harness connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms for each wire, go to next step. Repair appropriate Black wire if resistance is not as specified.
- Unplug left door lock switch. Measure resistance between Pink/Light Green wire terminal on switch and specified wire terminals, then repeat with Pink/Yellow wire terminal. See Fig 1
. Replace switch if measurements are not as specified.

- Unplug right door lock switch. Measure resistance between Pink/Black wire terminal on switch and specified wire terminals, then repeat with Pink/Orange wire terminal. See Fig 2
. Replace switch if measurements are not as specified.

- Turn ignition off. Measure resistance of Pink/Light Green and Pink/Yellow wires between left and right switch harness connectors. Measure resistance to ground of same wires. If resistance between connectors is less than 5 ohms, and resistance to ground is greater than 10,000 ohms for each wire, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, repair appropriate wire.
- Unplug right switch connector, leaving left switch connected. Unplug both door lock actuators. Measure resistance of Pink/Black and Pink Orange wires between right switch harness connector and both actuator connectors. Measure resistance to ground of same wires. If resistance between connectors is less than 5 ohms, and resistance to ground is greater than 10,000 ohms for each wire, replace appropriate door lock actuator. If resistance is not as specified, repair appropriate wire.
