PS9: Check Driver Motor Assembly

  1. Disconnect the driver motor assembly.
  2. Apply battery voltage and ground to the wire terminals on the driver motor assembly connector as indicated. See Fig 1 .

  3. Does the motor in question operate as indicated?
    • If yes (sliding motor), service the "O" and/or "GN" wire(s) between the driver motor assembly and the diver power seat switch. (Lifting motor) service the"BR" and/or the"PK" wire(s) between the driver motor assembly and the driver power seat switch. (Reclining motor) service the "GY" and/or "Y" wire(s) between the driver motor assembly and the driver power seat switch.
    • If no replace the driver motor assembly.
