System Inspection

  1. Visually inspect the components of the power rearview mirror system. See VISUAL INSPECTION TABLE  .
    VISUAL INSPECTION

    Mechanical Electrical
    Damaged Mirrors Blown Fuse: 10A MIRROR
    Damaged Connections
    Damaged Mirror Assembly
    Broken Or Loose Wiring
    Corroded Or Poor Connections
  2. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage.
  3. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and go to the following procedures.
