Pl3: Check For Power Short To Ground

  1. Locate and disconnect the interior fuse panel connector.
  2. Disconnect the power door lock switch.
  3. Disconnect the power door lock relay.
  4. Measure the resistance between the (Dark Blue/Red), (Dark Green/Orange) and (Dark Green/Red) wires at the power door lock switch connector and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  5. Measure the resistance between the (Dark Green/Orange) wire at the interior fuse panel connector and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  6. Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms? If yes, replace the power door lock relay. If no, service the circuit in question for short to ground.
