Removal & Installation (4.6L)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove serpentine drive belt. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect sensor and A/C compressor connectors. Discharge A/C system using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment.
  2. Remove A/C compressor. Remove sensor bolt and sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
