Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor (Festiva)

This sensor is located in the distributor. It sends engine RPM and crankshaft position data to the PCM. The PCM uses this signal in calculating fuel metering, ignition timing, idle speed control, and canister purge valve operation.
