Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove serpentine drive belt. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect sensor and A/C compressor wiring harness connectors. Discharge A/C system using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment.
  2. Remove A/C compressor. Remove sensor retaining bolt and sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten sensor mounting screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
