Lamp Does Not Flash When Separator Is Full Of Water

  1. Turn ignition switch to "ACC" position. Ground test connector (Pin 5) at module connector. Module is located on shake brace to the left of steering wheel column. See Fig 1 .

  2. Oil pressure lamp should flash after 10 seconds (about 2 flashes per second). If not, replace module. Module is okay if lamp flashes.
  3. Unplug water level sensor connector at separator and short together 2 connectors going back to instrument panel. If lamp does not flash after 10 seconds, replace harness. If lamp flashes, replace separator.
