Test Connector Locations

The SELF-TEST connector is found in different locations depending upon model. All front wheel drive models (Escort/Lynx/EXP; Tempo/Topaz), except Taurus/Sable, have the SELF-TEST connector on right fender apron, near firewall.

All Thunderbird/Cougar models have the SELF-TEST connector in front of left shock tower, above voltage regulator on 2.3L EFI/Turbo equipped models.

All Mustang/Capri models have SELF-TEST connector on left shock tower, near ignition coil.
