Fuel Charging Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove air cleaner. Release pressure from the fuel system at the diagnostic valve on the fuel charging assembly using diagnostic tool (T80L-9974-A). Disconnect the throttle cable and transmission throttle valve lever.
  2. Disconnect fuel, vacuum and electrical connections. Remove fuel charging assembly retaining nuts. Remove fuel charging assembly. Remove mounting gasket from intake manifold.
