Injector Drive Signal

  1. Unplug ECA 60 pin connector and install Breakout Box to harness. Connect processor to Breakout Box. Connect a test light between pins 58 and 37. Crank engine and note results. Next, connect test lamp between pins 59 and 37.
  2. If test lamp does not glow on 1 or both tests, verify that battery voltage is recorded at pins 37 and 57. If voltage is not present, repair wire or replace battery.
  3. If test lamp glows brightly on 1 or both tests, check circuits 95 (Tan wire with Purple dot) and 96 (Tan wire with Orange dot) for short to ground. If no shorts, replace processor.
  4. If test lamp glows dimly on both tests, injector drive signal circuits are okay.
